I have bought Fujitsu LOOX M/D15 netbook in Japan. I think it is only for sale in Japan.

It came with a 1 GB RAM but it is mentioned on the box that maximum RAM it supported is 2 GB.

I want to upgrade the RAM to 2 GB to get a faster performance.

    My questions:
    1. Does RAM for netbook is the same like general notebook?
    2. What RAM brand does people commonly use for netbooks? Please give me some recommendations and estimation prices.

    Thank you very much.

Should be the same RAM modules... DDR2 PC5300 200 pin 1.8v modules.

Download cpuz and see what is in there already, then search for the same type RAM but 2GB size.

Your netbook should use any stick of notebook 2GB DDR2. In my EEE 901 I upgraded it to a 2GB Stick of DDR2-800 and it worked fine.
