I own a Toshiba Sattellite a200 that I bought about two years ago. PSAF6U-0WU00U.

I have two questions about this laptop.

First, it seems to overheat quite regularly. Of course, this normally happens when I am running more than one program. I am wondering if this is a common issue with this laptop and, if it is, what I can do to prevent this from happening? It seems to occur even when I am not running any programs that require video. I have taken to regularly taking a vacuum to the fan intake, but that hasn't prevented the problem.

Second, the laptop comes with the Bluetooth stack software. However, I am unable to find a bluetooth radio in the device manager, do not see a bluetooth sticker anywhere on the laptop, and when i try to run the stack it prompts me to insert a bluetooth driver. Does this mean that the laptop came with software in case I later want to buy an adapter?

I looked around, and there have been a couple other people who had this problem, but it doesn't seem to really be an issue. I'd take a look at this thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=60914
It can show you great ways to cool it down. :)

As for your bluetooth, it doesn't look like it actually came with an adapter. You would need to add that yourself.

Toshiba tends to install the Bluetooth stack on most of it's laptops, even the ones that do NOT have a Bluetooth receiver built in. I ordered several of these https://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.11866 a couple of months ago and they have worked out great so far. It does take about 10 days to get them, but the shipping is free. I only had a problem with one of them, but they sent out a replacement right away.
