    I have a 2350 with only 256 mb memory. The chip is DDR 333 CL2.5 PC2700.
Q1. Would upgrade to 512 make a big difference to its speed? My thinking is that it is now quite an old machine and is only used for running MYOB, so overspending on memory that won't be fully utilised will be wasteful, so I'm looking at the smaller upgrade before I consider a 1GB upgrade, which I'm sure will do the trick.

Q2. Am I able to use any of these memory chips in this machine?
    ______________DDR2 667
    ______________DDR2 667/533
    ______________DDR 400/333
    ______________2100 266

Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge

Best shot is to stay with the same PC2700. Next is to go down with the PC2100. The PC3200 (400/333) might be hit and miss.

Windows always loves to have more ram.

Definitely only put in DDR ram. DDR2 and DDR3 won't work.
