I posted this in the Sony forum since I have an SZ120 with the biometric fingerprint reader but thought I'd ask the forum at-large....

I read somewhere (I can't find the link) that biometric fingerprint readers aren't encrypted. Can anyone confirm this? I know it does add a level of security to protected programs and files, but can hackers tap into my computer and "steal" my finger print also? I love the feature in my sz120 but it makes me nervous. Is Sony/Windows working on a patch to make it encrypted? Any comments or suggestions to put me a little bit at ease would be much appreciated....
