If i put an ISO file on a USB drive and then run it on a virtual drive rather then using a CD/DVD in the optical drive, will i save battery life?

    Thanks

well interesting idea, I have never thought about this.
I think it will merely save the battery life, but it might save the HDD life.

To OP I think your idea is sound? I don't know for sure but makes since to me. Not sure when your question became about saving hard drive? Try it out and let us know?
