Hi, I am currently looking to buy a laptop. I am wondering what the real difference is between the processor speeds? Is there a big difference in a 1.6 and 1.8ghz? I am not a gamer unless Spider Solitaire counts... :p . I do a lot of photo editing though and would want the computer to run fast. Thanks.

The computer will run fast regardless. The faster processor may give you a little bit more speed, however it it won't make much of a difference.

More RAM or a faster hard drive would give you more of a more noticeable impact for speed.

    Hope this helps.

Go for the 1.8 Ghz if the price difference is less than $50.
