I Am Getting Ready To Swap The Processor From My Dell E1705 To My Xps 1330, The E1705 Has A T7200 And The Xps Has A T5250, I Already Have The Processor Out Of The E1705 Now But Before I Tear Into My 1330 I Wanted To Make Sure That Everything Would Swap Ok, I Know That It Will Physically Fit Buy Will I Need To Reboot The Bios Or Anything Like That?? Thanks Robert

It will not even fit(the pins wont line up). The E1705 uses socket M processors while the XPS 1330 uses socket P processors which are not interchangeable.

Lol...hopefully nothing will happen unless he trys to force the processor in(A hammer wont help you there) ;). Though, you might be able to see the hope in his eyes slowly start to diminish once he finds out the old processor isnt pin-compatible :)

Good to hear! Now next time ask first! I would of given you the correct advice if KDawg had not already done so, I wouldn't really want to see you try. ;)

Isn't xps 1330 Penryn compatible otherwise i guess you have not much choice than buy a t7500 which was the highest option you could choose for that lappy.
