    The Sony FZ4000 is configurable with Penryn now, although they don't list a ship date.

    NCIX.com has three of them listed (by this I mean just that...listed, probably for pre-order)...the T8300, T8500 and T9300...tho the T9300 is a freakin $360 CDN :eek:

    I could see myself swinging the $260 for a T8500, but c'mon!

    $360 CDN might seem like a lot but I wouldn't be surprised if buying a DELL now with the lowest available compatible CPU and upgrading was cheaper or not more than buying when Dell releases. I think I have seen Dell charge upwards of $700 US for top CPU upgrade and even $1200 US (maybe $3000, not sure) for RAM in the past.

    Am I way off thinking because the mobile CPU upgrade market is relatively small. And OEM's will buy in volume once they redesign their lines. Supply issues may limit retail availability?
