I have a macbook pro and just ordered a bigger hard drive for it. I'm going to install Win7 on it using bootcamp and I wanted to make sure of something before I decide on the partition sizes.

From what I've gathered, hard drives start out on the outside of the platter and write in. Assuming os x takes the outside of the disk, making the os x partition as small as possible would give Win7 better performance right?
