    PM 735A vs. PM 740

    can somebody explain to me the benifits of a 740 as opposed o a 735A? there is a 50 dollar dif so id like to know before i buy. Thanks

    740 runs at 533mhz bus, whereas 735A is only 400mhz. for 50 bucks definitely go for the 740.

    Yes, but the 735 runs cooler and has better battery life all things equal.

    Yeah, there will be a small difference in performance . . as posted, there will be a bit more heat, but the Pentium M is a cool-running processor as it is. I'd spend the $50 for the upgrade to the 740.

    I agree with Chaz. The 740 is well worth the $50...not much of a performance increase, but just the jump in RAM speed is enough to justify the $50. Go for it. :p
