    Does it support DDR3? I don't think that it does, but not entirely sure. Does it support DDR2 800MHz though? Or only DDR2 667MHz?

    It depends upon what the motherboard supports -- DDR2 or DDR3.

    And the 45-series chipset does support upto DDR2-800 and DDR3-1066.

    Well it's the HP HDX18t if that helps, I guess I'll go search for what the motherboars is...

    Its offered with DDR2 modules, so max is DDR2-800 for now.

    Just FYI, DDR3 modules will not be compatible with that motherboard.
