    Can you use PC5300 in a T43; is PC5300 backward compatible? The Crucial site suggested PC5300, but I thought PC4200 was right.

    You can always use RAM that runs at a higher clock frequency, as long as it is only one increment higher. For example, 667 will downclock to 533, and 533 will downclock to 400. However, it is impossible to downclock 667 to 400. I hope this helps.
