I have already ordered this and am now just waiting for a few parts to come in.

ASUS Z71V laptop (128mb NVIDIA GeForce Go 6600)
    Pentium M 765 2.10Ghz 400mhz FSB 2mb cache
    Kingston 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC4200 DDR2 533 (KVR533D2S4/1G)
    Seagate 80GB SATA 7200 RPM (ST980825AS)
    ASUS Dvd burner (90-N9Q1W1000)
    Intel Wireless card 2915ABG

I am not really sure how much I spent but I think it is around $1300-$1400. First question you have is; why didn't you get a core duo? The reason is Iam thinking this notebook is going to be sweet. First I have max out everything I could by asus specs. Second and more importantly, there is a switch on the back of the laptop that changes the FSB manually from 400 to 533. I have seen people using the 1.6ghz 400fsb and getting it to 2.13ghz. I have not seen anyone use this processer and overclock it though. Either because of the price of it, or it doesn't work. Hopefully this will work. By my calculations it will be @ 2.8ghz. Fyi I am planning on installing a tri boot with win xp, win vista beta, and slackware.

    Tell me what you think.
