    Hi,
im trying to overclock my acer 6935 with setfsb. I know my PLL but when i increase the slider and press set fsb the slider just goes back to where it was.
Ive seen some people saying that its not possible to overclock this cpu and others that say you can but only around 2.7ghz. It would be great if anyone can tell me if im doing anything wrong and help me get at least 2.7 ghz.
    Thanks in advance.

stocked 2.5 and 3.125ghz stable. then 3.212 for benchmarking. 3.33ghz bluescreened but thats because of voltage.

    Actually looking at the datasheet:
    http://www.idt.com/products/getDoc.cfm?docID=18703881

You can see that you don't have TME mode enabled. B9b6 = 0.
And from the Vendor ID byte (ICS is 0001) you do have an ICS PLL.

It's strange that you cant overclock. I think you have the square 64-pin MLF package, so you should check pin 11 to see if it is connected to GND.

From byte 21 you can see that m/n programming is enabled. So I don't see why you can't overclock.

You should either try to pin mod to 333mhz or play around with the registers in setfsb. I know abo said he doesn't support setfsb anymore, but still send him an email.

I would try changing byte 0 from "07" to "05" and then try moveing the top slider.

I tried changing byte 0 but it just goes back to 07 after i press setfsb.
Also heres a screenshot of cpu-z. It says 0.950 v, thats because i have undervolted. Normally its 1.250 v.

Do you want to try a pin mod?

Also can you try changing any bit in any of the following bytes:
    byte 13
    byte 14
    byte 17
    byte 18

If you can't change them, we have a problem.

I tried changing a bit on those bytes, couldn't change anything. I don't really know a lot of this stuff, whats a pin mod?
