I was trying to clean my laptop's keyboard but I broke my Backspace, Home, and Delete keys... I was just going to go back to Best Buy and exchange it for another one but they don't carry my laptop anymore! Even though I bought a 2yr extended warranty... I bought the laptop and within a week it wasn't on their site anymore... WHAT DO I DO?

If it still under warranty then they have to replace the broken keys by law (that is if the broken keys are within the warranty.) If thats the case tell them that and Im sure they will fix it.

Check online for laptop parts. Google "laptop parts".

Ebay for a new keyboard. 10-20$. Works just as good as the old keyboard, may have a slightly different scissor structure under it.

If your warranty covers that type of damage then you can have them send it out. Just take it to the Geek Squad section in Best Buy. They will first ask a few random questions that seem completely unrelated, then pretend that they can fix it. Then ultimately they will send it out for repairs and will likely have it back for you in a month.

Or you can get a replacement keyboard on Ebay and replace it yourself. That may void your warranty though. I'd suggest you do the Geek Squad hassle.

A physical damage to your keyboard may most likely be outside the warranty coverage. Those types of damages are only covered if you have an accidental damage coverage or an insurance of some sort , standard extended warranties usually extended the normal warranty from 1 year to 2 or 3 years (which only covers component failures under normal operation due to manufacturing defects).

Why were you cleaning it if it was a week old?

My mother used the keyboard a spilled ravioli all over it. Just an update, I called Gateway and they sent me a brand new keyboard for my laptop (one of the best if not the best help I've ever had from a big company).
