I purchased a 2gb OCZ stick or RAM for my m1330 to make it a total of 3 gb when it arrives, is it a good choice? it was 97 dlls after tax and shipping at frys.com

They might not be a name brand people here know but they are world wide. They say performance RAM for the enthusiast. I would think it's good and give it a shot. If it was a rip off we would know by now, good buy I think.

I use OCZ RAM in my Sager. It has been running perfectly for well over a year and a half. OCZ makes awesome RAM.

However $97 sounds like a bit much. I paid a shade under $90 for a 2GB module for my ThinkPad. Check the RAM DEALS thread please.

LOL - Super Talent. I cheaped out and learned my lesson. Usually I pay a bit more for name brands but I figured what could go wrong?

Basically I went for the Super Talent modules because they were the cheapest I could find that carried a lifetime warranty.

But yes I can't find myself recommending Super Talent after that . . . even though their customer service is nice.

As with some of these other I did a search, not happy they don't say how long in business. They claim to make their own in U.S.A. kinda a shame no good? Maybe 1 bad stick or maybe re-branded Asian stuff is better? Oh and I should be careful recommending from Web sites? You think?

OCZ makes excellent ram. IN fact the 2 gig modules i have here are have micron chips on them which are very good.

Super Talent actually uses Micron chips I think so I'm guessing I simply got a lemon.

The micron logo on the chips. It has an M with a circle on it.
