Here is a screen shot of SiSoft Sandra benchmark. I overclocked to 1.8Ghz it beats the 1.83Ghz and 1.66Ghz core duos and two core 2 solos. Used ClockGen, screen shot below to shows clocks. I have gone to 1.92Ghz and that bests the 2Ghz core duo but I get stability issues so stopped trying. I am not undervolting AMD Power Now 1800/900 vs 1600/800 temps really are the same. :D

Nice work! I think Turions are actually more powerful than most would give them credit for.

Fast enough for web browsing, office and IM which is all my Celeron really gets used for.

I used ClockGen, how stable? well I have been running since before I posted and no problems, I have been benchmarking and surfing and played with paint, temps are fine. I have not used apps like Prime95 yet and I might not, If it works for me with what I do why do a stress test? The Trinidad TL-50 and TL-52 are 31mW the rest (56 and up) Trinidad's are 34mW so I think the 56 would be great for OC because they go up to 2.2Ghz with same mW's. Mine can only go so much.

Edit: Those Core 2 Solo's are Desk Tops! I just noticed!

The stable speed for the TL-5x series seems to be 1.9Ghz and no higher I wouldn't even leave it at that speed either 1.8ghz is the sweet spot :D . Yeah it can reach 2ghz but if I remember the system will freeze immediately. You should try overclocking and undervolting at the same time I managed to get 1.8ghz @1.0v, and there are other x2 owners that can get the voltage even lower at that speed :) .

I have found about the same as what you say. 1.9Ghz holds for a while, 1.92Ghz CRASH! I tried undervolting and had issues so now that (if) I am stable I might go play! I first OC'd it a month ago but stopped, I have a sweet spot for mine might play with 1.85Ghz, but who knows? I always watch my heat and if it crashes it reboots without OC enabled, pay attention kids!

My non-overclocked Intel Core 2 Duo T5200 can beat your AMD Turion X2 TL-52 at Dhrystone, even a Core Duo T2600 @ 2.16GHz, but not at Whetstone.

I agree! But my ATI Express 1150 can squash your GMA 950! So where does that leave us? Why don't we just be friends? :D

Edit: I was confused, I did not realize you got a 9852 on your Whetstone! I own you! Forget about being friends that was when I thought you beat me! Back Off! I Am The King Of The World! :D

Hm, any idea on how to get it working with my D531? Clockgen just gives me the options and the clocks as choices.
