I have Asus F3SV, which has a VGA (D-Sub) and a DVI port and I tried connecting a monitor to each one of the ports. Looks like the Nvidia GeForce 8600M GS driver allows access only to dual view, but not triple view. In other words, out of three screens, I can only run two at a time. I can run both monitors but would have to turn off the notebook screen.

Question #1: is this a driver issue or a real hardware limitation?

Question #2: if it's a software issue, can someone suggest a solution?
