    I'm looking to upgrade my notebook harddrive.

    what is the biggest notebook hard drive available and where can I get it?

    I think the biggest capacity is 300GB. However, watch out for the 300GB Fujitsu HDD because it is 1/2" thick and may not fit into your computer.

    You can get 250GB 5400rpm HDDs made by Hitachi (Travelstar 5K250), Western Digital (WD2500BEVS), Samsung (HM250JI) and maybe others. However, watch out for the Samsung. There were compatibility problems with the Intel 945 chipset, but they may have now been fixed.

    Where to buy? A lot of people start at Newegg.
