I have an MSI GT735, and the hard drive for it is partitioned into two parts by MSI. One of which is the C disk, and the other D. The stupid thing is, the OS is installed onto the C disk but the C disk only has around 43 gigs of space. The other partition, which I install all my stuff to, has 250gb. The C disk however, with nothing but the OS and some small programs that don't total to even 1 gig, is registering that there's only 2 gigs of space left in the whole partition. This is really worrying me, as I went into the C drive, selected all the stuff, and clicked properties. The properties came up with only 29gigs of space used, no where near the 41 gigs that it's registering being used. Any help?

Edit: The space seems like it's going down by 10mg every so often. I just clicked refresh and it went down by .06gb, and then when i clicked refresh a few minutes later, it went down by another .01gb, what is happening?

Try cleaning out your history and temp files.

Did all that, cleared out system restore, shadow files too, and disk cleanup
Now I have 9.31 gigs of space free, but where's the other 4 gigs of space?

Do you have hidden files turned on? Might not be registering everything as a result of that.

Wow eyclai you are a lifesaver. Treesize told me all the crap went into my hidden temp folder, which was taking up 7 gigs of space that was useless. Now I have 15 gigs free. Thanks!
