    Hi,
I have been looking for a 9 or 12 cell battery to replace the 6 cell that came with my laptop. The battery number is AS10D31. All i have been able to find is a 6 cell replacement. If anyone could help locate a 9 or 12 cell it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, John

Don't search by the battery number.

Did you try searching with your notebook model?

    Good luck.

Still no luck for me. Trying on ebay and google only to find 6 cell batteries. The battery is kind of oddly shaped it isnt just the typical brick.

I have looked at that and it doesn't appear like it would work for my model. The AS10D31 is not listed and the shape does not look correct. I know the 5740 comes standard with a different 6 cell.
