Is it true that AMD are bringing out new chips in the near future? Or is that just a load of rubish?

Well, AMD needs to bring in new chips...whether or not they will is entirely up to AMD's engineering departments.

If you are concerned about performance though, I'd honestly have to say that even the lowest end Intel or AMD dual core processor would provide enough power for 80% of all users. Seriously, they're just too darn fast!

In the next month: probably not but who knows!

The server chips are expected to be released next month. While the destop versions late this year or early 2008. Meanwhile the mobile cpus(Griffin) arent expected until next year.
