Ill be playing left for dead 2 or tf2 and all of a sudden everything freezes and the red text "problem with connection. trying to re-connect" or something like that. most of the time it recovers but happens again like 2 mins later. Any suggestions? Its extremely annoying

hard/impossible to tell from your description. hard to read minds......

what kind of machine and the details?
(is it the machine in your sig or another one?)
    what OS?
what kind of network card & connection?

Just to start out, make sure that your OS and the device drivers are completely up to date.

Try not to post the same question in more than one place.

Thanks for asking but I finally figured out how to prevent the problem. for some reason my WPA encryption was messing in up and I needed to switch to WEP.
