Hey guy's I need a temperature program that graphs and records all temps of my laptop to a file. Also is there one that will export the data to a graph and I can play with?

I remember SiSoft Sandra had a decent one but if it crashed the data was lost before saving. (had to save manually i thought)

Secondly, I need a device...maybe that goes through USB to record ambient temps as well. If the two programs/devices can also could merge their readings into one graph that would be amazing.

Trying to find an easy way to record temps for my tests with as little amounts of work as possible.

Thanks again guys/gals! I always appreciate it.

Throttlestop can do it with its "log" function. You would have to turn it on though.

Just as Indrek said... A spreadsheet app.

Use Excel if you have it. OpenOffice Calc if you do not and are on a budget.

Yeah excel is really easy. Just copy the entire column, paste it into excel and graph it. It will ask you for a range and you can select the entire data you just pasted on there. It will graph it for you vs time "units". You might have to paste a time column separately and have that as the x axis but throttlestop also gives you time. The whole process (after getting the data itself) should take you about 1.364 minutes :p

Do all three and see which if your results are consistent. You won't take more than 1.364x3 minutes :p lol
