    Hello everyone !
I am new to forums. I needed help upgrading my notebook's processor. If anyone can help me finding proper upgrade, I'll be very thankful. Also if someone can provide comparision between performance of mentioned CPU and AMD A4 dual core CPU, I would be very glad. Thanks in advance !

No way man, your cpu is on board not socketed. You can not change it.

AMD APU should be socketed. And many machines with this APU can be upgraded to at least A6 or even A8 providing BIOS supported.

This is true, I've disassembled one of my friend's G6 to clean the clogged dust and replace the thermal paste, I remember it has an A8-4500M in it. In fact the maintenance guide shows the following APU can be used:
    • AMD A10-4600M processor (3.2 GHz/2.3 GHz, 1600 MHz/4 MB L2 cache, DDR3, quad core, 35W)
    • AMD A8-4500M processor (2.8 GHz/1.9 GHz, 1600 MHz/4 MB L2 cache, DDR3, quad core, 35W)
    • AMD A6-4400M processor (3.2 GHz/2.7 GHz, 1600 MHz/1 MB L2 cache, DDR3, dual core, 35W)
    • AMD A4-4300M processor (3.0 GHz/2.5 GHz, 1600 MHz/1 MB L2 cache, DDR3, dual core, 35W)
So right now you have the A4-4300M.

Go for the quads if you want a worthy upgrade, A8-4500M costs £20-25 and A10-4600M costs around £35 (UK price).

You'll need to tear the whole laptop down to the motherboard to replace the processor, though.

Edit: Not really a fix, but a normal thermal paste maintenance
