If that one will work I want it. I want to be able to watch regular TV channels through cable and Sat. I also want to be able to record the TV.. this is not a must... but a plus. I also want to be able to run my xbox through it - also not a must, just a bonus

Will it be compatable with my E1505. If GPU matters I have an X1400

What do you all think? Will that one work for those things? Don't redirect me to a diferent one. I have 32 dollors to spend, so this is perfect. If there is another for 40 including shipping then that's as high as I can go.

    Thanks for all help.

Dunno about that one, but if you can receive over-the-air channels at all you should consider spending the extra money for one of these:
    OnAir Solution onair-usb-hdtv-gt
I have its predecessor. HDTV rocks. It'll do unencrypted digital cable channels too, which your cable service may or may not provide. Comcast lets you watch the HDTV equivalents to the basic TV channels unencrypted in my area. They used to let you watch pretty much all the basic cable channels but no more, and if you have the $10/mo video plan you can't watch anything in digital. Anyhow, YMMV but HDTV is VERY cool when available.

    Hello,

That card will not work on your E1505 because its PCMCIA, not ExpressCard. Those are completely different slots. Sorry.
