I own a hp pavillion dv2700 laptop. I bought it on 21st June 2008 from Tahlia branch of Jarir Book Store, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Recently I noticed that its screen has been broken at the right lower corner and there is black scratch at the right upper and left upper corner. I tried to contact service center of Jarir Book Store, Jeddah. I didn’t get good response from them. It is still working but having problem in browsing due to black scratches at the corners. I want to know how I can change this screen and how much it would cost? I will be happy if HP supports me to make my note book OK again.

A scratch to the LCD panel would qualify as customer use/abuse. The warranty would not cover it, so HP would charge you for shipping and for the cost of the replacement panel.
