Ok...So on my still relatively new lappy I have a version of word that asks me to enter the product key every time I open it saying, that after I have opened the program 25 times I will not be able to open with out the product key. I tried to input the product key on the bottom of the cpu, but to no avail. Do I need a different product key? Where can I find one.

Is there any CDs that came with your computer? Sometimes they'll put the product key for those on the sleeve. If not it sounds like they gave you the trial version. Use it for a month and pay for it or uninstall it.
