    Memory, 8GB 1866mhz or just 8Gb 1600mhz?

Would replacing my Crucial 8b 1600mhz with a Kingston 8gb 1866mhz warp give me noticeable shorter loading times or even a couple more fps?
And what about single vs dual channel. Would running 2x4gb give me much better results then a single stick of 8gb?

For (possibly) more FPS; it will only affect igpu's. Dual Channel is preferred for best performance and responsiveness, but again; actual performance will depend on the workload and the platform in use (Intel or AMD).

Going to 1866MHz Sodimms will only matter if the platform supports them and can make use of the higher clocks - assuming the latencies remain the same or better (relatively or absolutely).

Unless you can sell your existing RAM, I would say this is not a good upgrade (without the spec's of your system/platform).

1866 MHz. over 1600 MHz. will give you like 1 or 2 more FPS in games max. in normal working situations, you won't notice a difference

but Dual Channel VS Single Channel will give you a bigger difference so yes I would always go Dual Channel if it was my system. Haven't ever had a Single Channel, always upgrade RAM in matching pairs
