Hi, What determines the maximum HDD size that I can use for my laptop. Is it the chipset? I have Intel 945GM, so is it possible to upgrade to 250GB HDD or even more?
Thank you

it's the chipset and bios mainly but you shouldn't have any issue with 250GB with what you have.

New 320GB drives are hitting the streets now.
Size does not seem to be an issue with SATA drives.
They go to 1TB on the desktop side of things. -
Yer its supposedly possible to reach 1TB on the 2.5" form factor now because of perpendicular disk platetrs or somthing.
Noice i said possible.. Not probably. -
250gb wd's are only $120 on black friday at circuit city!!
