    Does anyone know who the makers are for the 17inch Glossy WUXGA (1920x1200) LED screen now found in the MBP? Im Considering buying one as an upgrade for my current laptop...

    I'm selling a sealed 17" 1920x1200 res (Glossy) Macbook Pro if you would be interested ;) Check out the buyer/seller forum.

    The LCDs I have seen on these are mostly Samsung, and a few LGs here and there.

    Yep I am sure.

    I've seen three in the Apple store I checked because my previous 15.4" model had the yellow line and I was curious if they were using a different manufacturer on the 17" LED backlit models. Well sure enough 2 were Samsung and one was an LG. I've heard that most people have been receiving the Samsung.
