So I bought an M11xR1 five months ago, my question is , Is it possible to upgrade my CPU? since most of the new games demand a faster core

    Thanks :D

I am about 95% certain the ULV in the M11xR1 is soldered in, so no, you cannot upgrade the M11xR1 CPU.

CPU is soldered BGA soldered on. To replace it with a faster CPU would be pricey and not worth pursuing.

Can get an almost free performance improvement by following http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...ock-m11x-r1-slg-hardmod-only.html#post7049385 . The examples showing a SU4100/SU7300 M11xR1 overclocked from 1.6Ghz to 2.0-2.1Ghz.
