    Hi,
I had some issues with my new notebook, an HP 8510w, drivers issues and the like. As it was new and not too much of a bother to start over again, clean I decided to format it. I really had a bad weekend and I did it twice because other issues started to pop up after that first format... (I really hate Vista).

The disk capacity stayed the same, 141gb which is correct, however... After installing the exact same programs I ended up with 105gb the first time and now only 90...

    How's that possible?

    !
I just defragmented my hard drive after installing all the applications all over again, don't really know if it has anything to do with it though...
And now I have 110gb of free space...5mins ago I had 90. What is going on in here :p

And no I'm not confusing defragmention with formatting a disk, just in case somebody asks.
