    Louis is testifying starting at 45:15 in Part 2. To get context for his references you might want to watch the whole of Part 2, maybe even Part 1 starting at 32:15

    These hearings have been happening state by state where the legislation has been submitted for hearing. IDK if it will be passed anywhere, but it's a step along the way toward getting legislation passed for Right to Repair.

    Here's Scotty Kilmer weighing in on "Self-Repair" from the POV of a Car Mechanic that needs access to information, and government protection from manufacturers that make non-serviceable parts - only serviceable through their dealer network.

    Scotty notes that over time car manufacturers that made most of their money from selling cars now make most of their profits from servicing and repairing cars.

    The repair topic is the first one, there are a couple of other interesting afterwards especially if you own a GM SUV with ABS that is part of the recent 640,000 units recalled due to ABS problems.
