    Hi all,

The chassis and keycasing of my 2 year old laptop has just been replaced after the mouse buttons wore out (they stopped clicking). Before the paint on the chassis along the sides completely wore off but also on the keycasing itself.

The problem is when the laptop is placed in my laptop backpack (fully padded) the screen bezel rubs against the keycasing and the plastics paint wears off.

Now that I have new keycasing I am seeing the wear start already ( 4 days in)..

Is there anything I can do to stop the rubbing between the display and the keycasing? Ive tried cellotape.. but that makes the keycasing all shiny. :(

I thought maybe someone might of encountered this and have some ideas?
