Hey I've seen a few people on here saying they upgraded their cpu's, gpu's etc
I was wodering where do you buy them from because when I used to buy parts for my desktop I just got them from sites like ebuyer. So with laptop parts do you have to buy them from the manufacturer which you bought the laptop from or just hope that someone has taken that part from their own laptop and is welling to sell it?

Basically, if you're in the US, the best place to buy almost any part is NewEgg.com. Processors, hard drives, RAM, etc. They have it.

Note: 99% of laptops cannot upgrade GPUs, so don't waste your time searching.

    ;)

raven, give me your processor details and I'll see if I can find a shop because I'm really interested now .. I think OCUK might do them.
