I am not sure that I am in the right place to ask this but here it goes.

I was using Acronis Drive Cleanser on an external HDD while my laptop came unplugged. It ran until the laptop shut down. After I plugged the laptop back in, it will not recoginze the external HDD now. I know that it did not finish cleaning it as my battery could not last that long.

What do I do now? Is there some trick or another program that can get this HDD going again?

did you see if it shows up under the vista partition manager.....

if not try downloading acronis disk director suite 10 trial and see if you can format and then wipe it....

    Win XP Home.

Extremely elementary question. Acronis Disk Director Suite 10 Trial. Should I choose run or save to download?
