    Hello everyone,

Once again my older laptop tricks me. Well I get recovery my laptop last time after I had baked it and disampled it multiple times and one day it did startup.
Error while I started then was something like this:

    Error CMOS 505

I might remember wrong but there was atleast CMOS and numbers. Anyway now I tried to boot it and it didnt worked. Thought my last use was around 3- 4months ago.

    Something information:

    HP Dv6 3050so
15 short beeps at startup -> after that it just flash all lights and stays doing nothing with black screen.

I found this kind site: AMI/AMIT BIOS Post Codes - BIOS Central

And Im not pro butI went to at 15 and foiund:

    15 CMOS read/write test OK
15 ISA BIOS interrupt vectors initialized

Anyway if someone have any suggestions what should I try to do feel free to suggest.
Thank you for all who have time to read/ help me :)

is it one loud beep for a second.
does your clock keep time in the bottom right of screen.
do you get a black screen with a load of writing on it.

if so it sounds like your cmos battery is dead. mine has been like that for a few months.
i have no idea about HP shortcut keys but try pressing F1 after the beep stops. thats all i press and then it loads normally.
then every day i have to change the clock to the correct date and time as its reset back to the day the laptop was made.
if you dont do this then some pages will come up with unsafe certificates. once clock has changed it runs as normal until the next day.

You could always open it up and replace the CMOS battery on the motherboard...

Lol I cant imagine how tired I was yesterday since my troubleshooting wasnt the best possible what I should be...
Anyway today morning I take alxhawker suggestion in act and changed cmos battery but it still beepping.
After that I looked little bit above where ram stick SHOULD be installed.... lul....
So I noticed that I was took them away and installed them into my new laptop. Overall I put my spare ram
stick in and it booted. Such a noob myself.

easier said than done on clevo's. if only it was in the base.
on mine its under the keyboard somewhere and just too much hassle. lappy is only used for backup emails and no other use so i can put up with one beep a day and resetting the clock each time.

Fair enough. I've never had a Clevo (or had reason to take one apart).
