    Laptop backlit keyoard upgrade?

    So i have this laptop asus x550ln and i would like to know if its possible "on this computer" to upgrade the normal keyboard to a backlit one, i know this is possible in some laptops but on mine i cant find anything that says i can.

    If there was no baclight keyboard offered ever with this laptop which is highly likely as its a budget option, the answer would be no you can't upgrade..

    This was my original worry with my HDX 18 as there was no baclkit keyboard offered the first year of production.

    I noticed one offered the second year of production and took a chance and ordered a comparable lighted keyboard from China and much to my favor (after I went through the arduous task of opening it up) the power connection was right in place. I plugged it in, and it has performed flawlessly ever since.

    Yeah your'e quite lucky but the HDX18 was a premium high end HP notebook of that time.. This is not the case with this Asus so this senario is virtually impossible...
