    HI
I would like to know one about thing
Is it possible to replace or change laptop built in speakers? My brother has played far cry 2 and COD modern warfare on my LG R500 laptop in full voice and now the right speaker seems to be making distracted sound and left one is working OK, so can those speakers be replaced? My Laptop is still in the warranty so can warranty be claimed for the speakers??

You should be able to replace them. Just find a site with the parts, get your service manual (if there is one, probably), just open up the laptop via the manual guide, and it should guide you to how to remove and replace the speaker/speaker assembly. ;)

Im searching, but still havent found it. You may want to contact LG even about it, and see if they'll send you the part...

thanks for the reply.... Ive gone through the manual but see no steps to open up the hood and replace the speakers somehow.....It will be very kind if you find service manual to replace/fix speakers.....

    ...Well, this all I found.

    http://ca.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp

I dont know if its a service manual or regular manual, and i cant view it right now. But take a look at it. If its not it, i dont think LG released a Service Manual for it then. Not all companies do.

You could try taking a shot at it. You shouldnt have to dicect it to far, just to get to the speakers. That is, if you feel comfortable doing so.

Is it warranty? You can just send it to LG. Even if its not, you could. But the fee is probably high.

You probably don't have much choice. Laptop speakers don't usually have variety.
