I just saw on eBay an LVDS to eDP adapter.
Could this fit into a laptop?

simple answer : no
laptops usually dont have extra space for that kind of pcb
maybe you could hack it into a 2.5" or optical drive bay, but id say its not going to be an easy task -

This does not look very large at all.
This one seems to have issues with outputting past 1440x900 though. That may be because the OP though in the link used a board with 1 channel not 2 channel LVDS.Last edited: Feb 1, 2017
