    does anyone know if the lg S1-P3B3A will support merom???

    At this point its just speculation, but according to Intel, Merom should be able to run in any of its modern chipsets(basically those which are compatible with the Core Duo). BIOS support might not be needed, but again this is all speculation at this point.

    But as Tylon mentioned I would consider it as a bonus if that laptop is able to support Merom.
