Ok guys, i'm new here so i apologies first if my english is bad :)
I have a problem, i have now two laptops, first is TravelMate 2410, second is Aspire 5100(both Acer).
In Travelmate 2410 the screen is broken, so i have buyed this Aspire 5100, because the motherboard is dead(coffee spill) and LCD is ok(tested on sisters Aspire 5100).Now here comes my problem:
I want to replace TravelMate lcd with Aspire lcd, Travelmate lcd is N154I1 -L09, Aspire 5100 lcd is LTN154XA -L01. I have tried to connect lcd from aspire to travelmate, and when i connect with cables from Travelmate, is just white screen!but when i connect with original cables(and inverter ofcourse), monitor don't want to turn on..so i'm asking you, if this is compatible?because datacable from aspire lcd has 22 wires and the other one has 13 wires, both connectors are similarly to each other..and i don't know if inverter from Travelmate has gone bad, or they just are incompatible
Can i somehow connect that or is this impossible?
    Please help =)
    i hope you understand me=)

oh i forgot..on vga out is working ok!

    greets

First off welcome to the forums and don't worry your English isn't too bad. :)

I don't know much about LCD replacement but I have a feeling that it will be impossible to do. If you are able to bring it in to a computer repair shop they might be able to give you some advice.
