Hi, I'm facing issues with my LCD screen. I have no clue what happened. I don't remember spilling water. I used the laptop in the night, switched it off like everyday. The next morning, I turn it on and this is what I get on screen. I have attached screen shot. The image 'spreads' on monitor when I press it with finger.

I assumed water must have got in somehow. I dried it under the sun and also with hair dryer. No luck. Or could something be wrong with display settings? There are no other issues with my laptop.

It is really really very annoying to use this laptop with that thing on my screen. Please help.

    Thank you.

let's weigh some things here: creating an account evinces some legit concern. two posts due to recent-server-issue-unfamiliarity on part of op would also do the same. buuuuut, nope. this is downright malicious. :D

Looks like the panel is cracked.

If so, the only option is a panel replacement.

Do you know what LCD stands for? There has always been liquid in your display.

Its cracked. Sometimes this happens for no reason. You'll have to replace the display to fix it.
