    Is there a "Black" version with a Free Fall Sensor coming out? Does anybody think we will see 7200 rpm 2.5" 500GB drives?

    Naw, I don't think we'll see a FFS edition of the Scorpio Blue. Its a useful feature for drives with a high spindle speed. Scorpio Black might be released later....

    And, the Seagate 7200.4 (500GB, etc) is coming soon....

    Thanks! I'm from Canada too. Too bad I have to pay PST on it since I live in Ontario. I'm not sure if I will return my 320GB Seagate to buy this one.

    I also found the drive available for around $154 at WWW.NCIX.COM, but I can price match to comtec to get the same price, and that way I won't have to pay PST.

    do you guys know if their WD personal passport essential, 500GB has the same BEVT drive inside ?
