Hi folks, I need a bit of advise again.

My girlfriend has an old ASUS A3200L with 256MB RAM which I want to upgrade. I have 2x1GB and 1x512MB sticks spare but they run at 333MHz (PC2700). I checked on a few memory configurators and they all suggest 266MHz (PC2100) replacements for the laptop above.

My question is thus, can I upgrade using the higher spec RAM? If so is this risky or will it just result in the RAM being underutilised?

    As always, thanks in advance.

PC2700 will work as all DDR RAM modules are compatible with all slower versions of DDR. It will run at PC2100 speeds though.
