    Hey guys,
I currently use a Toshiba Qosmio F25 AV205 as a desktop replacement and have upgraded it quite a bit.I was under the impression that the CPU can not be upgraded in this model but after looking on Ebay at spare Motherboards for this model it looks like it may be possible after all.But i wanted to be sure before proceeding. Here are the Specs of the current Processor as reported by CPU-Z.

Thanks for the reply K-Tron,im gonna have to do some reading. This sounds promising.

Maybe you can answer my second question as well.I know the Toshiba F25 15" and G25 17" are basically the same except the G25 has a 2.0GHz instead of 1.8GHZ and a Geforce 6600 128MB rather then a 6600 64MB card.Since the two are just about identical can i swap the Geforce 6600 64MB card from my F25 for a 128MB 6600 from a G25?

No, you cannot swap video cards. The systems may seem the same to you, but a different motherboard means that their is a different port layout, and internal organization. You will not be able to swap graphics cards. Sorry.

Pin modding will definitely speed things up a bit, without having to pay a penny.
