    Intel has updated their handy little SSD management tool. The two additions include System Configuration Tuner and Secure Erase.

    SCT is really for basic users, it prompts users to turn off defrag, etc. - handy overall and recommendations vary based on the computer.

    Secure Erase is a nice throw in too, keeps Intel users form having to use a third party tool. And thankfully it includes safeguards to prevent blowing up your system drive ;)

    Yeah, they have a compatibility list on their site as well. Not all Intel drives are compatible, though pretty much anything consumer and recent is.

    Okay, I downloaded and installed this on my U30Jc with the Inferno and all I get is information and smart information - too bad!

    Now, I want an Intel SSD again... :)
