Didn't know where to post this question. In theory, would a Centrino CPU machine possibly be OK to watch action movies/DVD, even with an integrated graphics card? I'm talking the "multimedia" type laptops.

Thanks. That's what I was wondering about. When I try to watch DVD on my desktop it seems a bit sluggish. On it I have the AMD 64x2 Black edition CPU

What do you mean by laggy? The video is laggy or when you slider to a different part of the movie?
What kind of a video card do you have?
A nvidia 6150 or 7150, is more than enough to watch a movie

I will double check to see which video card I have. It seems like sometimes the movie slows down to where I almost think it is going to lock up, and then goes again. One thing which shocked me just now was seeing that I went from a Windows Index of 4.0 a few months ago to a 1.0 right now. No clue what is going on but I better investigate.

    A 4.0 to a 1.0? It could be a driver issue.

Agreed with Mr._Kubelwagen, you should try a different driver.
