    Can anyone tell me whether the above model has a slot for fitting a separate graphics card apart from whatever onboard graphics?????

    On only a few high end gaming rigs, which the R52 is not one of, is the graphics card upgradeable. It's a fine machine otherwise.

    No it does not. Laptops with integrated graphics do not have a slot for a gpu.

    There is some sonys that have both, but those are very rare.

    And even if you had a slot, gpus are not usually upgradeable, so point is you're stuck with what you have.
